I went to Pearlys this morning for breakfast. It is more like standing at a fast food restaurant in line waiting to give your order. The service was fast. Large menu with breakfast and lunch or dinner items. I had the omelet platter. There was a lot of bacon in the omelet and they cooked it perfectly. It was not dry or over cooked. The biscuit was soft and it came with grits. The prices were fine for what you get. They bring your meal to the table. The place was a fast food vibe but it was nice and pleasant ambiance cafeteria style.

This place is not winning Michelin Stars but it has won a place in my heart. This is a breed of restaurant disappearing in the American south. Opens early and closes at 2. Breakfast and lunch with a thriving drive thru business. Service was excellent and felt like home. Lots of smiles from the greeting, to the order to clearing the table. Food was good, hot and arrived to the table quickly. Make this an Albany, GA must.

Breakfast early Friday morning. Ordered steak biscuit and cheese grits. Excellent service. Brought food to my table. Asked for mustard. She brought that too. Great crowd of hard working people. Bill was $8.

This place has been open since 1962 and I can definitely see why it's so successful. The long lines inside and outside says it all. People will literally WAIT to get their hands on this place and I'm glad we were part of those people today. Forget Cracker Barrel, forget IHOP. We went here for the first time since moving here in 2021 and I'm extremely happy we chose this place for breakfast. Hands down, THE BEST breakfast place I have ever had. As you can see, I didn't even wait to take a bite before taking a picture. The chicken biscuit was literally THE BEST chicken biscuit I've ever had. The chicken was juicy, not even close to being dry. I didn't need any honey or ketchup or anything. It was literally perfect the way it was. They make their biscuits to PERFECTION. The fluffiest, most flavorful, buttery, biscuits that just melt in your mouth. I can't even right now. Also got the Salmon croquet biscuit with egg. JUICY. Like how they make their food so yummy and juicy is beyond me, it's sorcery! Pleaseeee get me started with their scones because we got the apple cinnamon scone with icing on top. LORD HAVE MERCY. That wasn't just a scone. It was a scone sent down from heaven kissed by God himself. The SOFTEST most moist scone EVER. Dear God, please continue to bless the hands that make the food here because... wow, just wow.

I believe , this is the very best breakfast spot in all of Albany Georgia and Lee County Georgia hands-down there's just not another restaurant that serves breakfast anywhere near as good as this place
